Maid accused of killing boy in water tank

A Saudi man has accused his housemaid of murdering his nine-year-old son by locking him inside a filled water tank in his house in the Gulf Kingdom.

Police took the dead boy out of the tank at his house in the western port of Yanbu and sent it to the coroner for examination.

“The boy’s father told police that the maid murdered his son by dumping him into the water tank. Police arrested the maid for questioning pending forensic results,” the Arabic language daily ‘Sabq’ said.
