Man hangs himself by water pipe

A Saudi man using rope tied his neck to a metal water pipe on top of their house and hurled himself down to the horror of the passers by, a newspaper reported on Monday.

The crowd screamed as they watched the man plunging to his death while his body remained dangling from the top of the building, Almadina Arabic language daily said in its report from the central town of Taif.

Relatives told police the unnamed man was suffering from psychological problems, the paper said.
