Man held for molesting boy in Saudi

Saudi Islamic police arrested a Bangladeshi expatriate after he tried to rape a child in a deserted area in the Gulf Kingdom, a newspaper said on Thursday.

The man confessed to members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice that he seduced the boy to come with him and tried to rape him near a village in the southern province of Asir.

“They found forged ID cards with the Bangladeshis and decided to refer him to police for further investigation,” Kabar daily said.
