Man kills self after bank rejects loan

A man in Kuwait committed suicide when his application for a bank loan was not approved.

The story went viral on social media yesterday.

Many said that he jumped to death from the rooftop of the bank's building. However, police did not confirm this news.

Many on social media expressed sympathy for the dead man.

"He must have been desperate for that loan and could not take the shock of his application getting rejected," said Salem, a Kuwaiti man.

Hussain, another Kuwaiti man, said that the dead man must have had serious problems which led him to decide to end his life.
