Police arrest jobless man for molesting 5 kids

Police have taken into custody an unidentified man for allegedly molesting five children, including a girl, in Salmiya, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to sources, the suspect is 20 years old, unemployed and lives in the area of the Kuwaiti City where he committed the crime.

The daily added that after he was taken into custody, police officials asked him what he was doing in the area. He fumbled and showed signs of confusion which made the officials suspicious.

Following primary interrogation, he was singled out from a police lineup by two victims. Police officials say, the man will be lined up again and three other children would be summoned to identify him.

It has been reported the suspect goes on the prowl in the early evening hours looking for victims who are migrants, especially from Egypt. He allegedly lures them, threatens and molests them and escapes from the scene.

He will be handed over to the public prosecution.
