Saudi donates kidney to stranger via Twitter

A Saudi man is all set to donate his kidney to a stranger who suffers from kidney failure for no return, and this act has surprised many on the social media.

Naief Al Sheimmari said on his Twitter account that he happened to see a message from a Saudi woman on Twitter requesting  people to help her collect money in order to get a kidney and relieve her from the pain of dialysis.

“I felt sorry for her and I wanted to help her. I traced the account and found out that it was a Saudi woman and that she was suffering from kidney failure and had to undergo dialysis regularly at King Faisal Specialized Hospital. She wanted to undergo kidney transplantation in order to be relieved from the pain she suffers while getting dialysis,” he said.

Al Sheimari added: “I decided to help her and I contacted her and talked to her brother and agreed to donate my kidney. I went to the hospital and did all the tests and gladly all the reports were positive and there is nothing that stops me from donating her my kidney.”

He said when he approached the woman and told her he is willing to give her his kidney for no financial return, she was shocked and couldn’t believe it. “She was very happy and I was satisfied that I was able to give a patient hope for a better life and relief from pain. I pray to Allah to accept my donation and that I will be rewarded in life for the good thing I am going to do.”

He added that within few days, the transplantation surgery will take place.

This story surprised many people on social media and they could not believe that there are still people like this who help others for financial return.

One woman said she had tears when she read the story.

Another man expressed his happiness and said that Allah will definitely reward this man for his generous donation.
