A Saudi policewoman died after she was slapped by a colleague during a fight.
Examinations showed she had high blood pressure at the time, on duty.
The policewoman has just come in for a night shift at the police station in the western Saudi town of Makkah when she had an argument with another police woman.
“The other police woman slapped her. She was rushed to hospital but died later. Doctors said she died after she suffered from high blood pressure and exhaustion,” the Arabic language daily ‘Makka’ said.
It said the other cop remained in custody, but that a forensic report exonerated her from responsibility for her colleague’s death.
