Saudi girl dies after falling into tank

A nine-year-old Saudi girl drowned after falling into a sewage tank, according to Saudi press.

A spokesperson from Makkah Police said the girl’s father had filed a report about her missing.

“We formed a team to search for the girl. Investigators found that the girl had fallen into a sewage tank near her house,” the official said.

An official from the Makkah Civil Defence said that a diver from the civil defence team had entered into the sewerage tank and found the dead body of the girl.

The police is investigations the case to find out how the girl fell into the sewerage tank.
