Saudi King's condition stable
The condition of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, is stable after he received treatment for a lung infection, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) has reported.
A temporary assisted-breathing tube was successfully put in place after medical examination revealed a lung infection on Friday evening, according to a Saudi Royal Court statement carried by SPA.
On Wednesday, the Royal Court said King Abdullah was admitted "to King Abdulaziz Medical City of National Guard in Riyadh to undergo some medical checkups."
