King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia has ordered the creation of a website for his office through which citizens can make requests or lodge complaints directly to the Monarch, newspapers reported on Thursday.

“Tawasul” (interaction), was launched on Wednesday by the Royal Court, the Gulf Kingdom’s first direct access to the 89-year-old King.

“Welcome to Tawasul…out of his majesty’s keenness to make it easier for all citizens and to ensure access of all government services to the public, the Monarch has ordered the creation of Tawasul gate, which is an online service offered by the Royal Court through which citizens can make requests or send complaints to the Monarch against any party,” the Royal Court said on its new website.

The statement said citizens can log into the website on www.tawasol.royalcourt.gov.sa
