A Saudi man who went out of his house 25 years ago and never returned has been found by the police in a nearby city in the Gulf kingdom.
The man left his house in the eastern Saudi province of Ihsa when he was around 47 years old and has not been seen by family ever since.
Police launched a massive search operation after a man from Ihsa reported his father vanished quarter a century ago.
When police asked him why he had waited all these years to report his missing father, he said that he was a child when his father disappeared and did not know what to do.
“We have found the man in an industrial area in Dammam…he is around 72 years old now and is in a good condition,” police spokesman Colonel Abdul Wahab Al Rugaiti was quoted as saying by the Arabic language daily Okaz.
“We are in the process of contacting his family to come and see him.”
