The wife of Saudi billionaire Prince Al Waleed bin Talal, apparently moved by a film showing a local family of seven living in a cemetery, called the film maker to inform him she would donate a house immediately.

Princess Ameera Al Taweel said a house would be ready within days for the family, which was shown living in a cemetery in Riyadh in a U-Tube film produced by Saudi TV director Badr Al Hamoud.

The film is titled “graveyard” and focuses on the ordeal of a 53-year-old Saudi man, his wife and five children-- Sultan Rayed, Rahma, Jumma and Badriya.

“Within three hours from the publishing of the film, Princess Ameera contacted me and said she would donate a house at once,” Hamoud said, quoted by the Saudi Arabic language daily Arar.

Princess Ameera, 29, is Vice-Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees and Head of the Executive Committee of the Alwaleed bin Talal Foundations.

Prince Al Waleed is ranked as the wealthiest man in the Arab region and one of the richest businessmen in the world.
