Saudi schools to pray for rain

Millions of students at Saudi schools will pray for rain on Monday following a call by King Abdullah for rain prayers at mosques across the Gulf Kingdom.

Saudi education minister Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed issued a circular to all educational zones asking them to hold rain prayers at schools.

King Abdullah, who is recovering from a back surgery in the United States, has called for rain prayers in the world’s largest oil exporter on Monday.
