Sorcerer with two wolves to scare off ghosts

Saudi Arabia’s feared religious police arrested a local mosque preacher involved in witchcraft and using two wolves to scare off jinn (ghosts).

Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice raided the house of the unnamed sorcerer in the southern town of Almaa and seized the two wolves, 63 different talismans, a large sum of many and other magic items.

“He confessed to practicing magic and said that the two wolves are needed to frighten the jinn and protect the people,” Ajel newspaper said.
Witchcraft is strictly banned in conservative Saudi Arabia, where many convicted sorcerers have been beheaded over the past years.
