A female teacher accidentally spilt hot tea on a four-year-old Saudi boy just a day after he began his school year in a kindergarten in the Gulf Kingdom. The incident prompted the kindergarten’s management to sack the teacher.
The boy’s father Majid Al Gamdi said he enrolled his son at the kindergarten and was told the boy needed a week to adapt to the new environment.
“On the next day, I went to ask about my son and they told me about the accident,” he said, adding that his son has been admitted to hospital with burns on the hand, head and other parts of his body.
In its report from the eastern town of Khobar, Ajel newspaper said the kindergarten’s management decided to sack the unnamed teacher “with immediate effect.”
