Thief uses washed clothes to escape

A Kuwaiti chased a thief in his house and locked him up on the roof, thinking he pushed him into a tight trap. But the man apparently forgot about the many pieces of clothes hanged on his washing line.

When the police arrived at his house in Kuwait City and were given a permission to smash the roof door, the thief had gone.

“They found that the thief had tied the clothes together and climbed down nearly eight metres to his freedom,” Alanba newspaper said on Monday.
