Three Saudi thieves were caught by video as they beat up and robbed an Asian worker at a petrol station during a daring dawn raid in the Gulf Kingdom, a newspaper reported on Thursday.
The online Arabic language daily Burnews ran its story along with the seven minute film, showing the thieves stopping their car at the petrol station in the central town of Buraydah.
The film, captured by a security camera installed recently by the petrol station owner, showed two of them step out of the car and head for the Asian worker’s room.
A few minutes later, they were shown shoving him into the car, where they beat him up and stole his money and a mobile phone.
“This film shows the growing boldness of the criminals in the Kingdom and their disrespect of law…it is a dangerous indication that could severely harm the social system in many areas in the country,” the paper said.
