Two Saudi brothers have donated their kidneys to their younger twin sisters who are suffering from kidney failure, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

Ibrahim Mohammed Hussein, 26, said he decided to donate a kidney to his 12-year-old sister Tahani to save her life after doctors said she needs a transplant operation.

Quoted by Ajel newspaper, he said his brother Hussein, 32, also donated a kidney to the other sister Amani.

The paper said the operation was performed at King Faisal Hospital in the Southern Jazan province, where the family lives.
