Two kids crushed to death by road roller in Saudi

Two little Saudi boys were crushed to death by a road roller while they were playing on a road in the Gulf Kingdom, a newspaper reported on Sunday.

The roller was asphalting the road in the southern town of Abha when it hit the two boys, aged 4 and 11 years, killing them instantly.

Police said they were investigating the accident, according to the Saudi Arabic language daily Sabq.


African maid in Saudi ends life in toilet

An African housemaid in Saudi Arabia waited for her employers to go out, went to the bathroom, poured petrol on her body and set herself on fire.

The employers in the northwestern town of Hail had told the maid they were going out and would not be late. When they returned, they found her charred to death.

Police, quoted by Ajel newspaper, said they were investigating the maid’s motives for committing a suicide.
