Tyre blast kills policeman, injures another

A Saudi police man was killed and his colleague was seriously injured when their car overturned due to a tyre blast while chasing another vehicle.

The two police men chased a car they suspected was carrying illegal items on a motorway in the southern town of Majarda.

“During the chase, the police car overturned many times due to a tyre blast…one of them was killed and the other was seriously injured,” Sabq Arabic language daily said, quoting police sources.
