UAE to chair emergency Arab foreign ministers meet

To discuss attacks on Saudi embassy in Tehran; its consulate in Mashhad and Iran's interference internal affairs of Arab countries Wam The UAE is chairing an emergency meeting of the Arab foreign ministers council at the League of Arab States today [Sunday] to discuss the recent attacks on Saudi Arabia's embassy in Tehran and its consulate in Mashhad and Iran's interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries.

The meeting is held at the request of Saudi Arabia.

A diplomatic source said the attacks on the Saudi diplomatic posts in Iran will be the only item on the agenda of the Arab foreign ministers' meeting.

The source expected a pan-Arab consensus on the issue will be reached in light of a sweeping regional rejection of Iran's practices and continuous interference in the internal affairs of Arab states of the Gulf in particular.
