Video: Disaster as car moves while filling up

A Saudi driver caused a disaster when the petrol station where he was filling his car was engulfed by fire after he moved his vehicle while filling the tank.

A YouTube film showed the Saudi man was busy talking over his mobile phone as he got behind the wheel and drove away while the petrol pipe was still in his car tank.

A station worker tried to alert the driver but it was too late. As the car moved away, the petrol pipe snapped and splashed gasoline all over the place, causing a huge fire.

The film showed the worker narrowly escape the blaze while it was not immediately known whether there were any casualties.

'Ajel' newspaper which published the film said it was still not clear where in Saudi Arabia the incident took place but added that the petrol station was severely damaged.
