A Saudi man attending a local tribal meeting threatened to shoot himself unless tribe leaders accept his offer to donate SR10,000 (Dh10,000) for the tribe.
A YouTube film published in 'Ajel' showed the turbanned man holding a Russian-made Kalashnikov assault rifle and addressing the tribe council on a special tribal occasion.
He spoke loudly for more than a minute before he aimed the gun towards his feet and threatened to shoot unless they accepted his offer.
'Ajel' did not say where in Saudi Arabia the incident took place and it was not clear whether the man carried out his threat.
