Abdul Mohsen Al Ahmari of Saudi Arabia is ranked as the tallest man in the Gulf but he aspires to be classified as the world’s second tallest person.

Ahmari is as tall as 2.22 metres and he believes the only person who is taller than him is Sultan Kosen of Turkey, at 2.47 metres.

“Where ever I go, people look at me with interest or surprise but I have got used to this…many of them also smile to me or just rush to have photographs with me,” Ahmari said, quoted by the Saudi Arabic language daily Sabq.
