Wife hides brother-in-law's death till hubby's exams get over

A Saudi wife decided to hide the news of the death of her brother in law from her husband to allow him to fulfill his dream of obtaining a university degree.

The husband was heading for the university to set for his final exams when his wife received the news of his brother’s death in a road accident.

“She told her husband not to take his mobile phone with him to focus on the exams without telling him that his brother has just died,” Sada Arabic language newspaper said in a report from the Southern Saudi town of Baha.

“She then told her brother, who supported her…she said that she wanted her husband to pass the exams and fulfill his dream of obtaining a university degree…once her husband was out of the exams, he found his wife and her brother waiting for him to convey the news of his brother’s death.”

The paper said that by do so, the wife has “set an example for women’s love and commitment for their husband and concern for their future.”
