Woman attempting to jump to death rescued by civil defence

An Asian housemaid in Saudi Arabia jumped out of her bedroom’s window on top of the air conditioning unit and threatened to throw herself down before she was caught by the civil defence, newspapers reported on Sunday.

Residents who saw the maid on the AC set on the sixth level and threatening to jump down called the civil defence and police, who went to the building in the capital Riyadh and tried to persuade her to go back into her room.
