Woman sacked for refusing to marry boss

An Indian manager of a Saudi-based company sacked a local female employee after she refused to marry him, a newspaper in the Gulf Kingdom reported on Sunday.

'Sada' quoted the employee, Houzan Baghdadi, as saying her manager molested her many times before offering to marry her.

Baghdadi said she turned down the offer on the grounds the manager is married and that she believes he wanted to marry her in a bid to get more contracts for his firm.

“He sent his Indian wife to tell me that she agrees to the marriage, but I refused because he married a Saudi woman before and divorced her.

He wants to marry a Saudi just because he wants more contracts for his company,” she said, adding that she had reported the manager to labour authorities who promised to take measures.
