Woman with cancer seeks wife for husband

A Saudi woman suffering from cancer decided to search for a wife for her husband on the grounds she wants to ensure he and her little daughter would be in safe hands.

Her husband, identified as Salim, said he had rejected the idea but bowed at the insistence of his wife, who has discovered she has cancer recently.

“I first refused but she insisted after doctors told her cancer is spreading…she said she just wants to pick the new wife by herself to ensure our daughter and I are in safe hands,” Salim said, quoted by the Saudi Arabic language daily Sabq.

In a report from the southern Belgarn town, the paper said the woman is looking for an unemployed wife for her husband so she devotes her time for him and her daughter.
