Worker fails to 'hammer' himself to death

An Asian construction worker in Saudi Arabia found a novel way to commit suicide.

Instead of trying to hang himself or taking pills, he tried to hammer his head. But it was a total failure.

Armed with a metal hammer, the man went into the toilet, locked the door and began hammering his head.
 
Colleagues called the company security after hearing a strange noise in the toilet.

"They found him on the floor with his head bleeding,” the Saudi Arabic language daily Okaz said in a report from the eastern province of Ihsaa.
 
"They rushed him to hospital and he later told police he wanted to commit a suicide because of psychological pressures.”
