Shaping the future is preoccupying thinking of governments, says Ajman CP
Shaping the future is preoccupying the thinking of governments and institutions for the sake of developing innovative, responsive financial, economic, industrial and services strategies, said H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman.
''The prime goal is for governments to be proactive in modernising their policies, systems and programmes to serve customer and make them happy,'' H.H. Sheikh Ammar told the opening session of the Decision-makers Lab: Shaping Ajman Future, organised by the emirate's Executive Council.
Sheikh Ammar called for members of the community, including senior officials and employees, to maintain positive participation, propose innovative initiatives that keep abreast of the rapid electronic, technical and technological advancements so as to tackle challenges.
''The government of Ajman is striving to set policies and programmes for shaping the future guided by regional and international strategies to adopt best solutions for integrated management of all sectors,'' he added.
He urged government planners and policy-makers to prepare development plans that harness modern technology.
The lab discussed a series of scenarios for health, educational, social and developmental plans in view of Ajman Vision 2021 as well as challenges and opportunities.
