The captain of an Egypt Air flight from Saudi Arabia to Cairo made an emergency landing in the Gulf Kingdom after falling ill during flight.
The aircraft was on its way from the eastern Saudi port of Dammam to Cairo on Friday when the pilot felt exhausted and could not continue the flight.
Saudi newspapers said the captain of the aircraft with 121 passengers on board made an emergency landing at the airport in the northern Saudi town of Tabuk.
“Egypt Air sent another crew to Saudi Arabia and the aircraft later resumed its flight to the Egyptian capital,” Sada daily said.
