“We still have not received the reports on the tests carried out at Harvard and Buckinghamshire Universities in the US and England, so we cannot say anything yet,” he said.

The Island further reported that the experiments have revealed mysterious kind of microspecies on the meteorites fallen in Aralaganwila, Polonnaruwa in the North Central province recently.

Astrobiologist Prof. Richard B. Hoover of National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Agency of US and Prof. Chandra Wickramasinghe of Buckinghamshire University of England are conducting further investigations.

Dr. Anil Samaranayake said this kind of mysterious microspecies have not been discovered from anywhere in Earth so far, as stated by the two professors and the nature of theses microspecies is abnormal.
