Sri Lanka landslide: At least 150 killed

Colombo: Several villagers of Aranayake in Kegalle district of Sri Lanka were buried after a massive landslide hit the area. About 64 bodies have been recovered, ‘Hiru Gossip’ reported.

According to Major-General Sudantha Ranasinghe, 66 homes have been destroyed, while 150 were feared dead and at least 134 reported missing.

Siripura Primary School and Siripura Buddhist Temple were completely destroyed.
