A father of two European minors has handed over his two daughters to a woman who forced them into prostitution, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

The Dubai Prosecution accused an Asian woman identified as ZHZ, 40, and an Indian carpenter WMY, 35, of human trafficking two sisters, aged 12 and 16. The duo were confined and forced into prostitution and thereafter sold to others. The accused exploited their innocence and lack of awareness about the country’s laws.

The two were also accused of running a prostitution racket in Al Rifaa area.

The elder victim, FFJ, testified before the prosecution that in 2004 her father met ZHZ and after a couple of days the father asked her and her sister to stay with the woman.

On December 5, 2009 the woman sent the young girl to a Chinese man to 'please' him. “She was at the time just 12 years and five months old,” she testified.

She also asked her to offer sex to men and on February 7 2010, the woman sold her to an Indian for Dh100,000.  “I continued staying in the house of ZHZ but the man who bought me used to come to the house and have sex,” she said.

After a couple of months and on May 22, WMY, handed over the victim to a person who runs a prostitution racket and forced her into the trade and confined her in the house. The victim managed to run away and find her younger sister's location and notified the police.
