The long weekend for Eid Al Adha is forecast to be hot and humid, with low chances of cloud formation in the eastern mountains.

According to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), the four-day weekend, which starts on Wednesday September 23 and concludes on Saturday September 26, will be fair in general, with cloud cover on certain days.

On Wednesday, the NCMS states some convective clouds may form over the mountains, which have given way to wet weather in the past few weeks in the northern emirates.

Light to moderate winds in general will sweep across most of UAE, which may freshen at times.

The sea will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea may be rough during the daytime.
The relative humidity will increase during night and early morning times over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog/mist formation.

The weather on Thursday will continue to be fair in general and partly cloudy over some areas, with some convective clouds possibly forming over the mountains.
There will be light to moderate winds in general, while the sea will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

The relative humidity will increase during night and early morning times over some coastal and internal areas.

The NCMS further stated, the last two days of the Eid Al Adha weekend will continue to be relatively hot in general during day times and moderate during night times, and hazy and partly cloudy weather at times over some areas.

Some low clouds appear to the eastern mountains during the afternoon.

The relative humidity will increase by night and early morning times over some coastal and internal areas and fog may form towards west on Friday and Saturday.

The expected maximum temperatures over the country would be 35-39 degrees Celsius on the islands and coast areas, while internal areas will see averages of 44 degrees Celsius.

For those who are looking for some cooler climes could take their chances in the mountainous regions, where temperatures could hit averages of 27 degrees Celsius, with lows of 21 degrees.
