Video: Pigeon sold for Dh200,000 in Kuwait

A pigeon was sold for KD15,000 (Dh200,000) at a bird auction in oil-rich Kuwait and a local newspaper described it as a “special” pigeon.

After more than three minutes of offers during the action in the capital Kuwait City, the pigeon fetched KD15,000 and was bought by a Kuwaiti man identified as Bu Hamad.

“It was a special price for a special pigeon,” said the Kuwaiti Arabic language daily Al Anba, which carried a YouTube film of the auction.
