A Yemeni woman delivered on board a Saudi domestic flight after she went into labour just 30 minutes before the aircraft landed, a newspaper reported on Thursday.
The woman was aboard flight 1881 from the southern Saudi Sharurah city to the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah when she went into labour.
“She was moved to the front section of the aircraft and delivered with the help of the stewardesses just before the plane landed,” the Arabic language daily Saqb said without mentioning the baby’s gender.
