One individual’s reckless driving put three lives in danger for no fault of theirs. A woman is dead and two men are battling for life following a horrific collision in Shindagha Tunnel on Wednesday morning.
A 27-year-old GCC national caused a three-car collision as he drove his car against the direction of traffic. The accident happened at 3am on Wednesday at the exit of Shindagha Tunnel in the Bur Dubai direction when a Nissan Patrol hit a taxi and a private car, trapping the three victims in the mangled remains of their vehicles.
The Asian taxi driver, 29, and the 27-year-old Arab driver of the private car have sustained severe injuries, while the 26-year-old woman, an Asian, died on the spot, said Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Khadim, Director of Naif Police Station.
