Woman has triplets at start of Ramadan

A Saudi woman gave birth to triplets at a hospital in the Gulf Kingdom on the first day of the fasting month of Ramadan, a newspaper said on Thursday.

The 32-year-old mother and her two girls and one boy are all in good condition following the delivery at the obstetrics and gynecology hospital in the eastern port of Dammam on Monday, Ajel Arabic language daily said.

The triplets weighed between 1.6 and 1.9 kg at birth and it was the mother’s second pregnancy, said the hospital director Dr Abdul Rahman Al Shamsi.
