Woman raped by five men in Morocco

A married woman with a little son was raped by five men who abducted her in the middle of the day, the press reported on Thursday.

The woman was walking back home in the Western town of Settat when the five snatched her and drove her to an isolated place.

Newspapers said police arrested two rapists and are searching for the remaining three, adding that the woman had also been beaten up.

Maid ends life after news of her parent’s death

An Ethiopian housemaid in Saudi Arabia committed a suicide after learning of her parent’s death in her home country, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

Sabq quoted police as saying the maid, in her 20s, was found dead by her employer in the back garden of his house in the northern town of Khafji.

Police said investigation showed the maid ended her life after receiving news that her parents died at their home in Ethiopia.

The paper did not say how the maid committed a suicide.
