Woman sells bracelets; says were stolen

An Asian woman sold her gold bracelets and told police they were stolen by four African women in a shopping centre. The police quickly discovered she was lying.

“She scratched her hands with a kitchen fork and told police the scratches were caused by the four thieves,” ‘Sabq’ newspaper said in a report from the Western town of Madinah.

“During interrogation, she confessed that she sold the bracelets because her husband is mean and does not give her any money.”
