Romanian authorities detained a British man Saturday for "pornography with children" for allegedly having "made available to third parties" videos of children aged from one to 13, prosecutors said.
"Between March 2011 and January 2012, he had in his computer some 200 pornographic videos with minors" and "made them available to third parties, repeatedly, through a sharing network", according to the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism prosecutors.
The man, who was not named, is to be detained for 24 hours in Bucharest pending a court decision on whether he is to be formally arrested, media reported.
Danish authorities are also involved in the case.
