A Southern California farmer plowing his field may have discovered the body of a Russian skydiver who was last seen jumping from a plane two months ago.
Riverside County sheriffÕs officials said Tuesday the remains could be those of 50-year-old Vladimir Frolov, a tourist who took a solo jump from a plane September 25 in Perris, about 75 miles (120 kilometers) southeast of downtown Los Angeles.

Parachutes found with the remains had not deployed.

The Press-Enterprise reports that because Frolov was traveling alone, no one immediately reported him missing.

Authorities found his rental car and passport in the parking lot of the Perris airport five days later, after a friend in St. Petersburg called the skydiving company looking for him.

Searchers using ATVs, a helicopter, horses and sniffing dogs looked for Frolov for several days with no luck.
