UAE ensures safety of Emiratis, flights normal

The UAE Foreign Ministry is currently following up and ensuring safety of the  UAE citizens in Egypt in coordination with the operations room at the Embassy in Cairo round the clock.

Ambassador Hamad Al Shamsi, director of the operations department at the ministry called on Emiratis there to be cautious and avoid existence at gathering sites, urging them to contact the embassy in Cairo on the following telephone numbers:

 0020237766101, 00202237766102, 002027766103 for any information.

 Emirates operating normally

Emirates services to and from Cairo are operating as scheduled', an Emirates spokesperson said on Sunday.

''All passengers due to travel to or from Cairo in the next few days are advised to reconsider non-essential travel and check the status of their flight on www.emirates.com, before departing for the airport,'' he said.

''We are monitoring the situation closely and aim to give customers as much notice as possible should there be any changes to our operations". he added.
