Officials from the US and France are suggesting that the other country may be responsible for a powerful, well-timed attack that rattled a small town in Somalia town during a meeting of Islamist separatist leaders.
Both militaries deny responsibility for Sunday night's attack. On Wednesday officials from the two countries suggested it might be the other.
