A US cattle farmer is seeing triple after his mixed-breed cow, itself a triplet, gave birth to three calves.
Nosy Rosy comes from a long line of animals known for producing multiples, its owner David Jones told the Jonesboro Sun newspaper.
The newborn calves, born Jan. 25, are named Curly, Larry and Moe.
Cows normally give birth to one calf per pregnancy.
It's very rare for cows to have twins, let alone triplets, experts say.
Odds are about 105,000 to one, according to veterinarians at Washington State University College.
They call it a "statistical miracle."
Last month, when a cow in Russia gave birth to four cows, a veterinarian told local newspapers he has never seen it happen.
