$1 million note doing the rounds

Colombo - Two persons at a leading temple in Jaffna were taken into custody with a cash note of one million US dollars.
The duo were trying to do a transaction with the $1 million note. It was then that police investigations commenced and it is reported the note is not in use anywhere in the world.

The two accused told various businessmen that those who procured it from them would not be at a loss. So far, investigations have led to four arrests and the police media spokesman says that this million dollar cash note had been sold before for Rs2 lakhs in the country.
