Police say a woman who appeared to not have any teeth in surveillance photos from a bank robbery last month has confessed, apologised and said she planned the heist because she needed the money for dentures.
Forty-nine-year-old Evelyn Marie Fuller was arrested Tuesday by police in Pennsylvania, where she's charged with robbing a First National Bank on Jan. 20.
The Observer-Reporter newspaper reports Wednesday that Fuller told a judge she has mental health problems and lives on disability.
Fuller says her pastor told her to tell the truth about what she did.
FBI cuts down mother's door in raid on wrong home
A US woman says the FBI cut through her door and held her at gunpoint for at least 30 minutes before agents realized they were conducting a raid at the wrong home.
Judy Sanchez says she awoke to heavy footsteps in the stairwell on Jan. 26 and walked into her kitchen to see a blade chop through her door of her Massachusetts home.
She says she was held facedown on the floor at gunpoint while her 3-year-old daughter cried in another room.
It turns out agents were after the other tenant on the floor of the multiunit building who was suspected of dealing drugs.
The FBI has apologized and is paying for the damage.
