A Saudi farmer stalking a hungry wolf who had attacked his sheep many times killed the animal and hanged it just near the sheep barn to it will be a “lesson to other predators.”

The farmer in the southern town of Majarda was determined to kill the wolf after losing many sheep in just a few weeks, Okaz newspaper said.

“After stalking it for many days, the farmer succeeded in killing the wolf…he then hanged it near his sheep barn to it will be a lesson to other predators.”

Saudi police hunt for killers of 3 camels

Saudi Arabia’s feared religious police are hunting down for presumed killers of three camels found slaughtered in a deserted area, suspecting magic was behind the act.

The three camels were found dead and their heads were not facing Makkah in violation of a sacrificial practice for Eid Al Adha (feast of sacrifice) in the Gulf kingdom.

Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice suspect the slaughter could be an “act of witchcraft” as the three animals were left dead although camel prices soared above SR3,500 per head on that occasion.

“Commission members are searching for the perpetrators as they suspect the way they were slaughtered could be an act of witchcraft,” Kabar daily said in a report from the central town of Al Dawami near the capital Riyadh.
