Mother cries rape, but daughter loves uncle

A 14-year old Egyptian girl is the alleged victim of rape by her 24-year old uncle.

According to a report in the Al Wafd newspaper, the mother of the victim accused her brother of raping her daughter and said that he lured her to his room where he assaulted her sexually.

The mother of the victim pointed out that she did her best to help her brother who came to her house asking her to help him find a job.

She then noticed his strange behaviour which aroused her doubts about his relationship with her young daughter and she asked him to leave the house.

The mother was quoted in the story as saying: “He continued calling my daughter on the telephone and persuaded her to meet him outside the home and lured her to his room where he raped her.”

The police arrested the accused, but he denied the charges and said the girl came to him willingly.

The young teenager surprised the police when she confirmed that she has an illicit relationship with her uncle where he convinced her he would marry her and she had sex with him thinking she would be his wife.

The police have referred the case to the public prosecution.

3-year-old boy shoots, kills father

Police say a 3-year-old boy accidentally shot and killed his father after finding the man's loaded handgun in a southern Indiana home.

Indiana State Police Sgt. Jerry Goodin says the 33-year-old Martinsville man had brought his gun with him Friday to a home he was remodeling in Salem, about 25 miles (40 kilometers) northwest of Louisville, Kentucky.

Goodin says the man, his wife, their three children and a juvenile relative were at the home when the 3-year-old boy apparently found the gun and it accidentally discharged, fatally wounding the man.

Goodin says the case remains under investigation and prosecutors will determine if any adult should face charges. He calls the case a "tragic accident and a tragic mistake" of leaving a gun within a child's reach.

Peeping Tom spied on couple having “intimate relations”

A Half Moon Bay man caught spying on a couple while they were engaged in “intimate relations” in their bedroom  appeared in court to face charges of being a Peeping Tom, San Mateo County prosecutors in the US said.

Gilberto Mendoza Flores, 33, was caught peeking between the shutters of a Half Moon Bay home in May while a couple in their early 30s enjoyed a romantic moment at 5:40 am, said Steve Wagstaffe, San Mateo County district attorney.

The male victim heard Flores at the window with his pants around his ankles and yelled at Flores, Wagstaffe said.

Flores pulled up his pants and fled the scene as the couple dialed police.

San Mateo County Sheriff’s deputies quickly responded to the home, saw Flores in the area and chased him over fences and through backyards, Wagstaffe said.

Flores was eventually found lying on his stomach, trying to hide from police.

Flores, who was convicted of indecent exposure in 2010, faces charges of felony public exposure and peeping. He remains in custody in lieu of $100,000 bail. Flores will return to court this month.
